Gostivar, 14 October 2021 (MIA) – We need a clean win, like the one in Gostivar, so there are no more municipalities run by DUI, and for the victory of coalition Alliance for Albanians-Alternativa at the next parliamentary elections, leaders Zijadin Sela and Afrim Gashi told a rally in Gostivar on Thursday. “On Sunday, you will show the path to the light. After October 17, there will be no more municipalities run by DUI, because our coalition will win from Struga to Lipkovo. Tell people we need a convincing win, like the one in the first round in Gostivar,” said Sela. Gashi urged people to elect incumbent mayor Arben Taravari for a second term. “This win will be a herald of an even bigger win that is set to come at the next parliamentary elections,” added Gashi. Taravari said Gostivar is the leading municipality in credibility and the last in corruption. “This makes us proud and this is our investment in your vote. Our programme is called ‘Transforming the City’. We worked hard on infrastructure over the past four years and now it’s tourism we focus on,” underlined Taravari.
