Nikoloski - Lawson: Great Britain is Macedonia's partner for years

Skopje, 19 July 2024 (MIA) – Deputy Prime Minister and Transport Minister Aleksandar Nikolovski held a working meeting with the British Ambassador, Matthew Lawson, for talks on current developments between the two countries with an emphasis on economic cooperation and investments, including the relationship within NATO.
In the meeting, Minister Nikoloski also informed his interlocutor on the capital projects ongoing in infrastructure, the Transport Ministry said Friday.
“Macedonia and Great Britain have always fostered good bilateral ties. Since Great Britain is one of the bigger investors in Macedonia, business relations are particularly important. I informed the Ambassador that strong investment activity is ahead in infrastructure all the while discussing the current developments in the country and the cooperation between the two countries,” said Nikoloski.
Thanking for the cooperation so far, the Minister underlined the need to boost it further in areas of joint interest of the two countries, said the press release.
