Skopje, 19 July 2024 (MIA) — Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski met Friday with Italian Ambassador Andrea Silvestri.

According to a Ministry of Transport press release, meeting participants exchanged opinions on the current political and economic issues in the country and the region as well as the relations between the two countries.

Minister Nikoloski confirmed the excellent cooperation with Italy, highlighting that Italy's significant support has helped in the country's overall development.

At the meeting, Nikoloski presented to Silvestri to the new government's agenda regarding infrastructure investments.

Also discussed were ongoing reforms as part of the country's EU integration process, with the minister expressing gratitude for the bilateral cooperation so far and the need to intensify it in the future, the release said. mr/
