Skopje, 26 August 2024 (MIA) — Minister of Health Arben Taravari has announced an EU donation of 11,000 new vaccines against Covid-19 that should arrive within the next 10 days.

"Vaccine procurement is done with the European Commission for all countries in the European Union, and Macedonia is in that package," Minister Taravari said.

"As far as I know, this is in the final phase and soon all European countries, including Macedonia, will be supplied with vaccines against influenza and Covid," he said in response to a journalist's question.

The health minister was talking to the press after inspecting construction works on the country's first-ever social club for adolescents and adults on the autistic spectrum. mr/
