Skopje, 8 November 2022 (MIA) - The Ministry of Education and Science said that most of the new textbooks for the first, second, fourth and fifth grades will be printed and delivered this and next week.

There are over 20 textbooks for which there were no appeal procedures, according to the teaching subjects in the first, second, fourth and fifth grade, in all the languages in which teaching is carried out in the primary schools in the country - Macedonian, Albanian, Turkish, Serbian and Bosnian.

"We'd like to mention that the textbooks were prepared following the creation of new curricula for these classes, in accordance with the plan for the phased reform of primary education. In the meantime, quality teaching materials were procured for the students that cover the subject for the first trimester, so that they can work during the lessons and repeat what they have mastered after the lessons," the Education Ministry said. dk/nn/
