Skopje, 1 June 2022 (MIA) – New seasonal flight Skopje-Izmir is set to launch on Thursday, operated by Pegasus Airlines and SunExpress during the entire summer season, starting from June up to the end of October. “We are pleased by the launch of this seasonal flight, since Izmir is one of the most attractive destinations in Turkey for Macedonian citizens, both for tourism and business purposes. It is the third-largest city in Turkey, the most important port in the country and a place hosting many business fairs. We are certain that the flight will lead to more tourists and enhanced economic cooperation between the two countries, in hope of making the flight a regular one,” says TAV Macedonia General Manager Metin Batak. The Pegasus Airlines flights will operate every Thursday and Sunday, while SunExpress is scheduled to fly once a week, on Sundays.
