Skopje, 28 February 2023 (MIA) – Admirim Aliti, former Minister of Information Society and Administration, has handed over his duties to the newly appointed Minister, Azir Aliu.

The two congratulated each other and wished each other success in dealing with the sector’s challenges.

Minister Aliu believes very firmly that results can be achieved through hard work, perseverance and responsibility.

“My predecessors started some very important processes and projects in the areas of digitization, cyber security and the development of IT and communications technologies, which will have a significant impact on the improvement and positive transformation on the overall IT ecosystem in North Macedonia, and that we can make our compatriots proud,” Aliu said.

Azir Aliu is an international expert in the area of IT and education, with more than 20 years of experience in the private and academic sector, implementing over 100 different projects in areas such as digital transformation, the development of startups, AI and machine learning. dk/nn/
