Kiev, 2 February 2022 (dpa/MIA) - Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte has promised Ukraine  cybersecurity support during a visit to Kiev. Rutte said at a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday that his country was keen to offer expert advice in the area. In January, Ukraine was hit by a serious hacking attack on government websites, for which it blamed Russia. Rutte did not comment on possible Dutch arms deliveries to Ukraine, though he has previously signalled a willingness to do so. Zelensky said that Ukraine had handed over a list of military needs to the EU country. At the same time, he stressed: "We are only thinking about peace." Visits like Rutte's are aimed to help stabilize the Ukrainian economy, Zelensky said. The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki travelled to Kiev on Tuesday and demonstrated their backing for Zelensky.
