Skopje, 13 December 2023 (MIA) – Parliament's TV channel opened its studio at an event Wednesday. The TV studio was equipped as part of the Parliamentary Support Program with the support of the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.

The opening event on Wednesday was addressed by Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi and the Swiss Ambassador to North Macedonia Véronique Hulmann.

In his address, Xhaferi said that the studio will help make Parliament more transparent and visible.

Ambassador Hulmann noted that the project was realized as part of the Parliamentary Support Program and the Memorandum for Cooperation between the two countries.

“I am really glad that today we are witnessing the increased capacities of Parliament, especially considering the role of Parliament, which is to be a representative of the citizens,” stressed Hulmann.

She underscored the importance of Parliament’s TV channel and studio, and their benefits for the citizens.
