Skopje, 22 April 2024 (MIA) - St. Clement of Ohrid National and University Library is organizing its annual World Book and Copyright Day event on Monday, paying tribute to books, authors and readers. Attendees and participants in the event will receive books and roses.  

Director-General of UNESCO Audrey Azoulay's and Macedonian poetess, pianist and composer Iva Damjanovski's messages on World Book and Copyright Day will be read at the event. Also, representatives of the diplomatic corps in North Macedonia will be reading excerpts from Miguel de Cervantes' works. 

This year's event will include a speech by director of the national library, Rahmetula Kuqi, and Spanish Ambassador José Luis Lozano García.
