National electricity production at 96.4 percent of national consumption: statistics
Skopje, 25 September 2023 (MIA) - According to the State Statistical Office data, total consumption by types of energy commodities was in July stood at 483,722 MWh of electricity, 28.789 mil. nm3 of natural gas, 335,319 tonnes of coal and 99,448 tonnes of petroleum products.
Gross national electricity production participated with 96.4% in gross national electricity consumption, while 95.3% of the total national consumption of coals were used for generation of electricity.
