Skopje, 4 December 2024 (MIA) – On the sidelines of the NATO Foreign Ministers' meeting in Brussels, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Timcho Mucunski, held separate meetings Tuesday with the UK Minister of State for Europe, North America, and Overseas Territories, Stephen Doughty, as well as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia, Tanja Fajon.

During the meeting with Minister Doughty, Mucunski expressed gratitude for the UK’s support of our country’s EU integration process, underscoring the commitment for further strengthening bilateral relations, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.

“The meeting highlighted the critical role of a strong NATO partnership and joint actions to maintain peace and stability in Europe and beyond. Particular emphasis was placed on economic collaboration, enhancing trade, and attracting greater UK investments,” the press release reads.

During the meeting with Minister Fajon, the excellent cooperation between the two friendly countries and NATO allies was reaffirmed.

“Mucunski expressed gratitude for Slovenia's support in the EU integration process, expressing hope that Slovenian experiences would contribute to strengthening the country's administrative and legislative capacities. The interlocutors underscored their shared commitment to maintaining regional stability, as well as combating terrorism, organized crime, illegal migration, and cyber threats, as priorities in their foreign policy efforts,” reads the press release.
