Mucunski meets Swiss Ambassador Hulmann, Montenegrin Chargé d'Affaires Šljivančanin

Skopje, 18 July 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade held meetings Thursday with Swiss Ambassador Véronique Hulmann and the Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy of Montenegro, Velimir Šljivančanin.
According to the Ministry, mutual satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations was voiced at the meeting with the Swiss Ambassador. The meeting also underscored the joint readiness to mark the 30th anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations.
At the meeting, Mucunski voiced gratitude for the continued assistance provided by Switzerland as a significant bilateral donor. The longstanding cooperation within the frameworks of the Swiss development program was also welcomed at the meeting.
In his meeting with the Chargé d'Affaires at the Montenegrin Embassy, Minister Mucunski voiced gratitude for the assistance provided in the efforts to combat the wildfires in the country. The meeting also discussed the Euro-integration processes of the two countries, with interlocutors noting the need for their acceleration in the interest of regional stability.
Views were also exchanged on the alliance between the two countries within NATO, as well as regional cooperation in the context of tackling current security challenges.
Mucunski and Šljivančanin also touched upon current regional and international topics, voicing joint readiness to continue cooperation within multilateral formats.
