Mucunski meets Israeli Foreign Minister Sa'ar

Skopje, 24 August 2026 (MIA) - As part of his working visit to Israel, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski met Monday with his Israeli counterpart, Gideon Sa'ar. In a social media post, Mucunski wrote the meeting reaffirmed excellent bilateral relations and a shared readiness to further enhance them.
“The visit is an opportunity to translate our firm political relations into more concrete cooperation, particularly in the economy, defense and the defense industry, cyber security, healthcare, agriculture, and tourism. We also signed two significant bilateral documents in the areas of education, science, culture, youth and sport, as well as economic consultations,” Mucunski wrote on his official Facebook page.

In the post, Mucunski stressed that the country “especially values the solidarity and support Israel and the Israeli people demonstrated after the tragedy in Kochani”.
“We continue to upgrade our partnership through concrete projects, stronger economic ties, and new opportunities for cooperation,” Mucunski wrote.
