Mucunski meets Estonian Foreign Minister, UAE’s Minister of State for International Cooperation
- On the second day of the 79th United Nations General Assembly, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski, held separate meetings with the Foreign Minister of Estonia, Margus Tsahkna, and the Minister of State for International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, Reem Al Hashimy.
Skopje, 25 September 2024 (MIA) - On the second day of the 79th United Nations General Assembly, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski, held separate meetings with the Foreign Minister of Estonia, Margus Tsahkna, and the Minister of State for International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, Reem Al Hashimy.
According to the Foreign Ministry, at the meeting with Minister Tsahkna, the two ministers reaffirmed the excellent bilateral relations and the desire of both parties to enhance cooperation.
“The joint interest to intensify the mutual relations was highlighted, with a special emphasis on the economy, trade exchange, digitization and modern technologies. At the same time, the partner relations and cooperation within NATO were stressed, as well as in the process for the country’s accession to the European Union,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said in a press release.
At the meeting with the United Arab Emirates' Minister for International Cooperation, Reem Al Hashimy, the two ministers assessed the current development and friendly relations between the two countries and welcomed the economic relations and cooperation on a multilateral level.
“Interlocutors also discussed opportunities to promote the framework contract, as well as cooperation in culture and education. They also exchanged views on the foreign policy priorities of the two countries, as well as current international issues and regional topics,” the Foreign Ministry said.
