Mucunski, Dudziak discuss UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework 2021-2025

Skopje, 1 July 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Timcho Mucunski met Monday with the United Nations’ Resident Coordinator in the country, Rossana Dudziak. Talks focused on the Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework 2021-2025, with interlocutors highlighting that its implementation will also contribute to full implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030, to which the country is fully committed, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.

Minister Mucunski extended gratitude for the UN Resident Coordinator's Office support so far in fulfilling the national priorities, highlighting the commitment of the new Government to reform processes and further democratic development.

Interlocutors welcomed the continued support from the UN for the overall progress of the country through various projects and activities, also highlighting support to the country's key processes, such as the EU accession process.

In addition, participants in the meeting discussed the country's participation in the UN General Assembly, which will be held in September 2024, as well as the calendar of activities in the coming months.
