Skopje, 4 September 2024 (MIA) — Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski had a phone call with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Caspar Veldkamp earlier on Wednesday to talk about the country's EU integration process and the implementation of crucial reforms.

According to an official press release, their conversation focused on reforms in the judiciary, which are key to the rule of law and strengthening of institutions. 

Ministers Mucunski and Veldkamp stressed that the success of these reforms was essential for reaching European standards and for the country's EU progress.

They also confirmed that the fight against corruption remained a top priority, highlighting the importance of this for building trust and regional stability. mr/
