Mucunski – Fidan: Boosting trade exchange, attracting investments and improved cooperation in tourism 

Skopje, 19 July 2024 (MIA) - In a phone call Friday, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski and his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, agreed to promote trade exchange, attract investments and improve cooperation in tourism between the two countries.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, the two ministers affirmed the excellent bilateral relations and the commitments to strengthen cooperation on a political and economic level.

“In the phone call, the ministers also discussed the partnership and excellent cooperation within the frameworks of NATO, which was also reaffirmed at the Alliance’s Summit in Washington. Additionally, they emphasized the joint efforts to tackle current security challenges and maintain trans-Atlantic stability,” the Ministry said.

Minister Mucunski also thanked his Turkish counterpart over the assistance provided in the efforts to put out the forest fires raging across the country, “which represents an additional confirmation of the solidarity and longstanding friendship between the two countries”, the Ministry said.
