Skopje, 10 August 2021 (MIA) – Montenegro is joining the wildfire extinguishing efforts in North Macedonia, after the country’s Defense and Security Council decided to approve the motion of Defense Minister Olivera Injac over the deployment of helicopter Bell 412. The help comes as a result of the request by Defense Minister Radmila Shekerinska to her Montenegro counterpart Injac, implemented through NATO’s Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre (EADRCC), the Ministry of Defense said in a press release. The helicopter and a four-man crew are scheduled to arrive early on Wednesday.
