Skopje, 8 May 2024 (MIA) — The Ministry of Interior has so far not logged any disorderly conduct or intentional disturbing of the public peace and order at polling places, spokeman Toni Angelovski said on Wednesday, adding that voting was going on peacefully and without any problems.

According to Angelovski citing information received as of 11 am, there were few reports of voter intimidation and undue influence on voters, including party representatives gathering near a polling station in Shuto Orizari, and posters and leaflets being scattered in Skopje's Chair.

"Incidents of coercion were also reported in Tetovo, Skopje, the Kumanovo village of Banica, Strumica, and Bogovinje, but after measures were taken by police officers, the allegations have been unproven so far," Angelovski said.

The MoI spokesman said election violation complaints should be made by dialling 192 and 112 or by reporting the incidents to the nearest police station. mr/
