Skopje, 17 November 2023 (MIA) - Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski said Friday he expects to see a regulation in place that would ban companies owned by nationals blacklisted by the United States to take part in public procurement procedures.

Minister Spasovski said that yesterday's decision to sanction Russian businessman Segey Samsonenko, his wife Irina and Ratka Kamcheva, the mother of businessman Jordan Kanchev, who was placed on the list earlier this year, was expected.

"I also expect other individuals involved in crime, those who have been tried and went to prison, to be sanctioned in every way possible," Spasovski told reporters.
