MoI Spasovski meets Czech Deputy Minister Nováček
Skopje, 13 September 2021 (MIA) – Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski met Monday with Czech Deputy Minister of Interior Jiří Nováček, discussing bilateral cooperation through joint training and exchange of experiences, leading to enhancement of capacities and professionalism of both police services.
“In the framework of the project for enhanced control and supervision, 131 foreign police officers, 40 of whom from the Czech Republic, are deployed at our southern border. The professionalism and experience of the Czech police officers are of invaluable significance for us,” said Minister Spasovski.
The Czech support also includes grant of equipment and vehicles towards preventing attempts for illegal migration, the Ministry of Interior said in a press release.
Spasovski and Nováček also discussed road traffic safety and latest trends in the field, along with enhancement of cooperation in other segments.
Deputy Minister Nováček said cooperation would continue to develop in the field of migration but also in other fields in the ministries’ jurisdiction, reads the press release.
