Skopje, 21 August 2024 (MIA) - The Ministry of Interior said Wednesday the Skopje police sector has concluded its investigation regarding yesterday's shooting at the parking lot behind "Mavrovka" mall, in which a 58-year-old man was killed.

The MoI says the perpetrator, a 39-year-old Skopje resident, has been apprehended by the special police forces.

The police also carried out searches at several locations, seized a gun and bullet cases that forensics experts found to link the perpetrator with the crime.

The MoI arrested another person that was later released due to lack of evidence, while a third individual who is suspected of assisting the perpetrator is still on the run.
