MoI: Counterfeit PCR tests discovered at Tabanovce border crossing, Skopje International Airport
Skopje, 9 September 2021 (MIA) – Police officers from the Regional Center for Border Affairs North discovered 11 counterfeit negative PCR tests presented by Macedonian citizens at the Tabanovce border crossing and the Skopje International Airport, the Ministry of Interior said in a press release on Thursday.
While checking the Macedonian national’ PCR tests, officials discovered nine forged negative PCR tests at the Tabanovce border crossing and two such tests at the Skopje International Airport.
“The eleven people said that they obtained the tests from middlemen for Mden 1,000-2,000. After a full documentation of the cases, charges will be filed against them in accordance with Article 378 of the Criminal Code – 'counterfeiting a document', and Article 206 - 'not acting according to health regulations during an epidemic',” the press release read. dk/mm
