MoI and Inspectorate General of Security Forces of Czech Republic sign memorandum of understanding
Skopje, 12 September 2022 (MIA) - Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski alongside Assistant Minister of the Department of Internal Control, Criminal Investigations and Professional Standards Igor Arsovski met on Monday with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic, Jaroslav Ludva, and delegation from the Inspectorate General of the Security Forces of the Czech Republic, headed by director Radim Dragun. The talks were focused on promotion of mutual cooperation in regard to the prevention of corruption as a phenomenon that requires a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach in preventing and combating corruption and the possibilities of joint investigations leading to a concrete result. Participants in the meeting expressed satisfaction with the continuous fruitful cooperation, and appreciation was expressed to the Czech Republic for the huge support toward improving the capacities of the Ministry of the Interior, as well as for the support provided for dealing with illegal migration by sending Czech police officers to our country border, Ministry of the Interior said in a press release. Moreover, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Inspectorate General of the Security Forces of the Czech Republic signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
