Skopje, 5 May 2024 (MIA) - Parliament Speaker Jovan Mitreski on his personal behalf and on behalf of the MPs sent an Easter greeting to the Head of the Macedonian Orthodox Church – Ohrid Archbishopric, Archbishop of Ohrid and Macedonia HH Stefan and all Orthodox believers, extending wishes for beautiful holiday moments.  

"Christ's suffering for humanity and his resurrection should help us overcome all challenges together and united. To face all adversity, to overcome temptations, stand in solidarity with each other and open our hearts to unconditional love, compassion and togetherness," says Speaker Mitreski. 

On this Easter, he adds, let's spend beautiful holiday moments and share joy and happiness with the family, our neighbors, friends, acquaintances, but also all those who need help and support.

"Let's share, lend a hand, spread kind thoughts and love and rejoice life. May Easter, as a holiday of hope, bring well-being and unity in our hearts for everyone, regardless of their religion. Let's together wish for a better world, more empathy and understanding, a world without conflicts, with a tendency to resolve all misunderstandings with dialogue and compromise," Speaker Mitreski says in his Easter greeting.
