Minor quake shakes Pehchevo region
Skopje, 24 August 2022 (MIA) – An earthquake measuring 2.9 on the Richter scale was registered at 7:34 am with epicenter in the Pehchevo region, 115 km east of Skopje, said the Seismological Observatory within the Skopje-based Faculty of Natural Science and Mathematics.
The Seismological Observatory data show that the earthquake measured 3 magnitudes according to the European Macroseismic Scale. The earthquake was felt in the Pehchevo and Berovo region.
