Ministry of Transport and Communications saves 47 pct electricity compared to same period last year
Skopje, 27 November 2022 (MIA) - In line with the recommendations passed by the government, the Ministry of Transport and Communications implemented measures without disrupting the work process and managed to save 47 percent of electricity in October 2022 compared to the same month in 2021.
In these times when everyone is feeling the impact of the global energy crisis and the lack of energy, with timely measures and compliance with the recommendations, we enable a safe and uninterrupted supply of electricity, the Ministry of Transport and Communications said.
This is just another proof that the measures bring results. Everyone can contribute to the stability of the electricity supply and it directly depends on our individual behavior. Energy efficiency, i.e., the rational use of resources, will enable the reduction of energy bills, increase the competitiveness of enterprises, but also huge savings on the state budget.
The rational use of electricity through the introduced measures that have proven to be adequate for our institution will continue to be applied in the coming months, reads the press release.
