Skopje, 21 September 2023 (MIA) — The Ministry of Education and Science has developed new online school management software integrating teachers' and parents' suggestions to overcome the problems of the existing e-school management platform, education authorities said in a press release.

According to the Ministry of Education and Science, the newly developed system has been approved by the Bureau for Education Development, the State Educational Inspectorate, and the State Examination Center.

So far, 40 school IT administrators have been trained to use the new software, with all remaining school IT administrators nationwide expected to be trained in its use as well.

After software testing procedures end, the new online school management system will be launched during the second semester of this school year or at the beginning of the new one, education authorities said.

The new system was financed through the IPA funding mechanism of the European Union. mr/
