Skopje, 24 January 2024 (MIA) – Minister of Labor and Social Policy Jovanka Trenchevska and the UNICEF Representative to North Macedonia, Patrizia DiGiovanni, signed Wednesday a one-year working plan which focuses on social policy, protection from violence, and pre-school education.

“The goal of the signed programme is to provide all boys, girls and families with equal access to the social services with an integrated quality, which will enable improved health, care and protection from negative experiences. At the same time, the programme is expected to make it possible for children and young people to develop and progress through high quality and inclusive education,” said the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy in a press release.

The Ministry said in the coming period, through childcare, it will continue to strive to enable a favorable environment which puts children at the center.
