Skopje, 16 September 2021 (MIA) – Minister of Information Society and Administration Jeton Shaqiri met on Thursday with Italian Ambassador to North Macedonia Andrea Silvestri and discussed the process of digitalization, as well as cyber security. Shaqiri, the Ministry said in a press release, briefed Silvestri on achievements in several ongoing processes in the area of digitalization and cyber security. Interlocutors, the press release read, put special focus during the meeting on cyber security. “They discussed the increase of cyber attacks and measures that must be undertaken, as well as opportunities for cooperation on specific projects in the field of cyber security, aiming to improve conditions, protection, risk assessment and measures for preventing cyber risks. Minister Shaqiri thanked the Ambassador for Italy’s readiness to assist initiatives,” the press release read.
