Skopje, 21 August 2021 (MIA) – Minister of Labor and Social Policy Jagoda Shahpaska met with North Macedonia’s shooting team, which will take part in the Tokyo Paralympic Games on August 24-September 5. Athlete Olivera Nakovska-Bikova is the only Macedonian representative to vie for medals at the 2020 Paralympics in Japan. At the meeting, Minister Shahpaska wished the national team luck in winning medals, the Ministry said in a press release, adding the government is committed to advancing the rights of people with disabilities. Nakovska-Bikova said she was confident she will qualify for the finals at the Tokyo Paralympics. Nakova-Bikova on August 31 will compete in women’s 10m air rifle standing, in women’s 25m rifle standing on September 2 and women’s 50m rifle standing on September 4.
