Minister Nuredini meets Bulgarian counterpart Karamfilova
Skopje, 23 November 2022 (MIA) – Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Naser Nuredini met Wednesday with Bulgarian Minister of Environment and Water Rositsa Karamfilova, discussing topics related to the coordination of activities in the environment sector. Discussions focused on exchange of experiences and expertise in transposition and implementation of European legislation in the environment field, especially within the EU accession negotiations, specifically Chapter 27-Environment and Climate Change, the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning said in a press release. In this context, interlocutors reaffirmed the positive effect of activities implemented by the working group on European integration and green policies, established through the Friendship Treaty. The ministers also tackled the protection of cross-border waters, primarily the Struma river, but also protection of Belasica mountain and topics related to waste management, reads the press release.
