Minister Murtezani is set to meet with European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement, Olivér Várhelyi, Secretary General of the European External Action Service, Stefano Sannino, and Director General of the European Commission’s Directorate General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR), Gert Jan Koopman.

He will also meet Director for the Western Balkans at DG NEAR, Valentina Superti, DG NEAR Head of Unit for Albania and North Macedonia, Sigrid Brettel, and Hungary's Permanent Representative to the EU, Ambassador Ódor Bálint.

The Ministry of European Affairs said the meetings will cover a series of topics important for the country's accession process, with an emphasis on regional stability, economic cooperation and further alignment of the domestic reforms with the European standards.

It added that that opportunities for increased technical assistance for ongoing reforms in the judiciary, rule of law and anti-corruption measures will also be assessed in the discussions. ad/ik/
