“It represents a special honor for me to participate in this significant event aiming to support greater inclusion of Roma people in our society. As a multi-ethnic, democratic society, North Macedonia is fully committed to the promotion of inclusion and equality, with an emphasis on the protection of the human rights of all our citizens,” Minister Mucunski said in his address at the conference.

Mucunski highlighted the importance of the Roma Inclusion Strategy 2022-2030 which addresses key areas such as education, employment, housing, social and health protection. He stressed that the Government would continue efforts to achieve social cohesion and equal development.

In his address, the Minister noted that the country is a regional leader when it comes to the promotion of the rights of Roma, with a long-standing contribution in the implementation of the Decade of Roma.
