Skopje, 11 November 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski met Monday with the Ambassador of the French Republic, Christophe Le Rigoleur.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, this meeting comes after the recent meeting of the delegation led by Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski with the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, on the sidelines of the European Political Community event in Budapest. 

"Talks with Ambassador Le Rigoleur focused on North Macedonia's European integration, with Minister Mucunski stressing the need for increased engagement and support from France as one of the leading members of the EU. In addition, the Minister highlighted the Government's commitment to implementing key reforms for membership in the Union," reads the press release. 

Interlocutors exchanged views on deepening political and economic cooperation, as well as on current challenges in the area of regional security.
