Skopje, 27 March 2023 (MIA) – Minister of Justice Krenar Lloga met Monday with Head of OSCE Mission to North Macedonia, Ambassador Killian Wahl, discussing current developments in the country, judicial reforms and the initiative to draft a new Electoral Code.

Minister Lloga told Ambassador Wahl that VMRO-DPMNE has been communicated over their nomination of a member and chair of the working group regarding the constitutional changes, but with no response as yet, the Ministry of Justice said in a press release.

Wahl was briefed on the activities the Ministry of Justice has undertaken, as well as the future plans that need to be realized to ensure the rule of law.

The OSCE Ambassador was also informed on the process of institutional settlement of the problem with persons without birth records and expects this issue to be regulated by the end of 2024. dk/ik/
