Kavadarci, 1 January 2025 (MIA) - The Mihajlovo ski resort on Kozhuf mountain near Kavadarci officially opened on Wednesday. The resort currently has one ski track and 370m-long ski lifts.

"The ski track is 400m long, starting at 1,400m above sea level and ending at 1,300m", said Kavadarci Mayor Mitko Janchev.

According to him, the project is yet to develop, with two more tracks to follow, accompanied by proper infrastructure.

Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, who attended the resort opening, thanked all those who contributed to the project and the municipality of Kavadarci.

Thus far, EUR 230,000 have been donated for the resort infrastructure by Komercijalna Banka and Kozhuvchanka, along with few other socially responsible companies.
