Mihail Miloshevski wins ZNM's top prize on creativity and journalistic ethics

Skopje, 11 June 2024 (MIA) - Journalist Mihail Miloshevski from 360 Stepeni is the recipient of this year's award on creativity and journalistic ethics awarded by the Association of Journalists of Macedonia (ZNM) and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for his reporting on the "Lotova's Bulgarian Club in Kosovo- Shut Down," that were awarded on Tuesday.

Ardit Ramadani is the recipient of the second award on the topic: "Women in Macedonia do not Receive Their Fair Share, Tradition is Stronger than Law," published on mollekugja.mk.

The third award was divided between four journalists- Vanja Micevska and Vesna Kochovska for their story "Unjustified Fears Have Disarmed Traditionalist Fighters in the Region," and Valentina Vurmo and Aneta Risteska’s "The System is an Extension of Violence, Perpetrators Get Away with Probation."

Due to the large number of submissions, the Commission decided to award Elena Gagovska a certificate her story "Anatomy og Murder in Kochani," published by Prizma.

The awards are dedicated to the fight against disinformation and promotion of gender-sensitive reporting in a bid to strengthen journalistic integrity. ssh/ba/
