Skopje, 7 July 2022 (MIA) – I assure you that VMRO-DPMNE will not support any constitutional revision, said party leader Hristijan Mickoski before the protest against the French proposal aimed to unblock the country’s European integration.
“Today we received the information that the Government has decided to forward to the Parliament the negotiating framework and the Council conclusions, which are practically part of the agreement that the Government has made with Sofia, although we do not see any logic why there, because the Government is the one that decides on this,” said Mickoski.
He added that VMRO-DPMNE would not support any constitutional revision.
“The Macedonian public should know that VMRO-DPMNE will not accept this national treason and disaster in preparation by the Government of SDSM and DUI.. This requires 80 MPs, who they don’t have,” said Mickoski and noted they would not fall for provocations at the protests.
Asked if VMRO-DPMNE lawmakers would vote for constitutional changes, he said “there are no such traitors in this VMRO-DPMNE-led coalition.”
“I assure you of this, I am prepared to vouch for this,” said Mickoski.
According to him, VMRO-DPMNE would act in compliance with the strategy to be agreed, to do everything to explain to the people in Macedonia this is not their future, this is treason that stops our future in united Europe,” underlined Mickoski.
