Mickoski: SDSM and DUI undermining the EU idea

Kochani, 27 April 2024 (MIA) - SDSM does not distance itself from DUI's criminal activities, nor does it intend to, and DUI uses the narrative of being a European party while benefiting from European funds, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said Saturday evening at the rally in Kochani.

“DUI’s conduct undermines the European concept; they become miners of the European concept in Macedonia. The people don't associate them with Europe, and there are European officials who are ashamed because the EU is not represented by corrupt figures like Arta, Merko, and Talat,” Mickoski said.

Announcing some of the program goals for the upcoming VMRO-DPMNE government, he noted that it would strongly dedicate itself to improving the unfavorable demographic situation in the country.

“You are our motivation, and it's crucial for all of us to work on improving the demographic landscape and on the family as a fundamental pillar of sovereignty and the unitary character of Macedonia. In our platform, we envisage up to six free in vitro interventions for young mothers, and for each mother and firstborn child, there will be a tax refund paid on income tax within one year. For the second child, we will refund the income tax paid within 2 years, up to Mden 80,000, and for the third child, the income tax paid will be refunded every year until the eldest child reaches eighteen years old,” Mickoski added.

Dragan Kovachki, list principal in the third election district and Mile Lefkov, MP candidate from Kochani, spoke at the rally in Kochani, announcing projects that the future government will implement in the municipalities of the eastern region.

VMRO-DPMNE-led coalition held a rally in Vinica where support was sought from voters for the presidential candidate, Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova.
