Gevgelija, 28 March 2024 (MIA) - In response to a reporter's question over expectations for a fair election campaign, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said dark campaign was a hallmark of the ruling government, and VMRO-DPMNE does not expect that the dark campaign, which abounds with montages, insults, fabrications and slander, to stop. 

He added that as far as VMRO-DPMNE is concerned, the party will not lead a dark campaign because Macedonian citizens know that since the independence, the country has not had a worse government than that of SDSM and DUI. Therefore, VMRO-DPMNE will lead a positive campaign with projects and solutions to citizens' problems.

"Our goal is to lead a positive campaign, and talk about solutions to citizens' problems, and not burden ourselves with who is worse, because every citizen knows that the SDSM and DUI government has been the worst. That is, there has never been a worse government since Macedonia's independence," said Mickoski during Thursday's visit to Gevgelija. ssh/nn/
