Mickoski says he accepts a leaders’ meeting if talks include early parliamentary elections issue
Prilep, 6 May 2022 (MIA) – VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said he accepts a leaders’ meeting, but if talks include what the citizens need, i.e. early parliamentary elections to come out of crisis situation. “I’m ready to talk about everything that is current and that the citizens need, and early parliamentary elections need to take place as soon as possible, so that Macedonia can come out of this crisis situation in which it finds itself. I’m ready in four days from today to talk about all open issues, as well as about setting a date for holding early parliamentary elections. There can be no talks without this issue. They are the problem, and the solution is early parliamentary elections. "We offer four teams to sit down for talks, to help from the day we sit down for talks to the day we agree on elections, so that Macedonia can come out with as less damage as possible of all these crises that this incompetent government cannot resolve,” said Mickoski. Mickoski attended on Friday in Prilep an opening event for a training on “Strengthening the capacities of the local self-government”, organized by the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, VMRO-DPMNE and PIAC “Ljubisha Georgievski.”
