Skopje, 12 May 2023 (MIA) - VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski and a delegation of the party met Friday with the delegation of the Council of American Ambassadors, which is paying a working visit to North Macedonia. 

Talks focused on the current political and economic situation in the country as well as the Macedonian European integration, whereat Mickoski pointed out that "there will be no constitutional changes in this parliamentary composition under Bulgarian dictation and in these circumstances”, VMRO-DPMNE said in a press release. 

"Mickoski stressed that Macedonia's place is in the European Union, but the same conditions should apply to Macedonia as to the other member states, i.e. the country's path to the EU should be based on the Copenhagen criteria and no additional conditions," reads the press release. 

The VMRO-DPMNE leader has thanked for the U.S. support to the country, adding that cooperation should continue in the future.
