Mickoski in Rosoman and Gradsko calls for high voter turnout on May 8

Rosoman, 26 April 2024 (MIA) – VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski addressing rallies on Friday in Rosoman and Gradsko as part of presidential and parliamentary elections campaign, urged for higher voter turnout on May 8 and sending DUI into opposition.

"There are centers of power that do not want to see a successful Macedonia, we have such, and they were a key factor, so far they were both in the Government and here I mean DUI and Ali Ahmeti, he wants to see a impoverished Macedonia and so on. They do not want to see a successful Macedonia," Mickoski said.

He said that these elections are an opportunity to send criminals into opposition.

"And I say this solely because of the crime, I don't say it about DUI because they are Albanians, no, but because of the crime. I called on the opposition among the Albanians to fight together. I am fighting against DUI who are robbing Macedonia and putting it on its knees," Mickoski added.

Aleksandar Nikoloski, VMRO-DPMNE vice president and list principal in the fourth election district, said at today's rally in Rosoman that they plan to seek out new markets for the purchase of plums, which, as he stated, will yield better prices. He also emphasized support for the construction of cooling facilities, the reconstruction of existing irrigation water systems, and the development of new systems. In addition, significant funds are planned in the agricultural sector for these two aspects, amounting to hundreds of millions of euros.

“Furthermore, reinstating a fair subsidy system, which means, according to what the farmers process. So, we are planning numerous projects in agriculture that should improve conditions," he emphasized.

Nikoloski also mentioned the expressway from Prilep to Gradsko and said that the next Government, which according to him will be led by VMRO-DPMNE, will complete this road by 2027.

Regarding the projects, Dragan Kovachki, list principal in the third election district, stated at today's rally in Gradsko that VMRO-DPMNE's vision is to transform Macedonia forward through the implementation of projects from ‘Platform 1198.’
