Mickoski in Kumanovo: Together let’s create hope that will overcome apathy

Kumanovo, 29 April 2024 (MIA) – VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski told a rally in Kumanovo on Monday that the party is determined to make changes, to overcome apathy, to create the future and take responsibility, adding that the incumbent government is falling apart and everyone will face responsibility.

“They will answer because they brought Macedonia to the brink of poverty. The fact that 600,000 of our fellow citizens live by with only 160 denars a day. The fact that we have the highest inflation in Europe, record breaking crime and misery index. But they will also be held accountable for stealing the country and seizing it for themselves. 100 people from DUI run everything in the country. SDSM made it possible for them to rule,” Mickoski said, adding that DUI will end up in opposition.

He said he seeks support from the opposition, from all those who are fighting against the government. He reiterated before the citizens Kumanovo that he extends a hand to the Albanian and the Macedonian opposition.

We are extending a hand, he added, but that does not mean that it will happen unconditionally, and every single citizen in the country should know that, regardless of ethnicity. A vote for the coalition "Your Macedonia" and VMRO-DPMNE is a vote for the only force that can change things in Macedonia, Mickoski said.

The VMRO-DPMNE leader called on the undecided voters, those who voted for other candidates who did not qualify for the second round, as well as those who did not vote, to join "hope for Macedonia”.

“We will start a front against corruption, we will dissolve and reform the judiciary and the council of public prosecutors. Our work is just beginning and we must work even harder from now on because the future depends on us,” said Mickoski.

He added that it will not be easy, but change will be achieved in which "hope will conquer fear."

List principal Vlado Misajlovski and MP candidates Boban Nikolovski, Brane Petrushevski and Martina Ristovska also addressed the rally in Kumanovo.
