Skopje, 27 June 2024 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski met Thursday with German Ambassador Petra Drexler and exchanged opinions on current political and economic affairs, and the country's EU integration process.

PM Mickoski highlighted the importance of the partnership with Germany, noting its support is of crucial significance for the country's development and stability, the Government said in a press release.

"Germany is our major strategic partner and friend. Their support and cooperation are of enormous importance for us. We will continue to work together in the spirit of partnership and mutual values," said Mickoski.

Ambassador Drexler reaffirmed Germany's commitment to continue the excellent cooperation with North Macedonia, expressing readiness to support key reforms and projects in the coming period.

Interlocutors agreed on the further strengthening of bilateral relations and intensification of cooperation in various fields of mutual interest, reads the press release.
