Skopje, 28 October 2021 (MIA) – I am prepared to pay the price for freedom and a new joint future, because the people are our strength and we are theirs, and the new future is our dream we will not give up from,’ VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski told the party’s rally in Skopje on Thursday. “Many people ask if I am shaken by these dark campaigns against me and my family. I assure them of my calm because I know this is despair on their part, a way to lose their dignity,” said Mickoski. He added that the authorities showed their real face through the dark campaign “but they will not run away from defeat”. The VMRO-DPMNE leader said the people are the force and added that the destinies of all people across the country were intertwined and there were no divisions. “The pain of other people is my own. The pain of the people who lost loved ones in the Tetovo hospital is mine, as is the pain of the farmers, people going to the stores with empty pockets, pensioners not able to pay for their medicines. Your pain is my pain,” said Mickoski. He said there is no left or right Macedonia, no SDSM or VMRO Macedonia, no Macedonia divided along ethnic or religious lies, but only one common Macedonia. “They want problems and fear to reign in the country but I tell them there is only one Macedonia. All of us, Macedonians, Albanians, Turks, Roma, Serbs, Vlachs, Bosniaks and others, Christians,. Muslims, Jews, atheists, we all believe in our lives and our destinies and the right to live that life with dignity, order and progress,” underlined Mickoski.
