Mickoski at EPP Summit: Participation in international events key for strengthening country’s position

Skopje, 19 December 2024 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski wrote in a Facebook post on Thursday that he participated in the Summit of the European People’s Party which brought together “prominent leaders, representatives of political parties and key policymakers from all of Europe”.
“The Summit was a platform for the exchange of opinion and ideas for the future of Europe, I am especially joyous over the fact that Macedonia is becoming a part of these strategic conversations and partnerships. Our active participation in such international events is key for the strengthening of the country’s position in the European context and for the contribution to a joint vision for a stable and prosperous Europe,” Mickoski wrote.
The conversations and discussions at the Summit, according to the PM, were significant for the direction of future policies, as well as building bridges of cooperation with European partners.
Previously, Mickoski wrote, he is convinced that such meetings are of great importance for the country’s progress on its European path.
“This is yet another step towards our shared goals for stability, economic growth and greater presence on the international stage. Today I am participating in the Summit of the European People’s Party in Brussels. We spoke about enhanced cooperation, regional initiatives and European perspectives. This is an opportunity to lobby for the Macedonian interests and the future of the country as a part of the European family,” the Prime Minister wrote in an earlier post on his Facebook profile.
