Skopje, 18 June 2024 (MIA) - VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski, alongside coordinator of the party's parliamentary group and member of the executive committee Nikola Micevski as well as MP and member of the executive committee Marija Miteva, met Tuesday with NDI's Chief Programs Officer Stephanie Rust, highlighting excellent cooperation over the past years and stressing the importance of continuing such cooperation in the future. 

Mickoski briefed participants in the meeting on the landslide victory of VMRO-DPMNE in the parliamentary and presidential elections, adding that it represents a great responsibility of the party before the citizens as next government, VMRO-DPMNE said in a press release. 

Mickoski also spoke about the course of political processes after the formation of the new government, as well as the reforms where the main focus will be on the fight against crime and corruption, accelerated economic growth and the progress of Macedonia towards the EU. In addition, Mickoski thanked NDI for the excellent cooperation over the past years and stressed the importance of continuing such cooperation in the future, reads the press release.
